On Wednesday, April 9, former Sun Prairie East High School standout Drew Kavanaugh’s current college team, the UW Eau Claire Blugolds, lost 8-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the UW - Stevens Point Pointers.

The game took place at Zimmermann Field. This was their second matchup against the Point Pointers this season.

The Blugolds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 12 p.m. at Carson Park against UW - Oshkosh Titans.
