MMSD staff and their families are invited to attend a Staff Appreciation Night at the Forward Madison FC soccer match on Saturday, October 11 at 5 p.m. The event will take place at Breese Stevens Field.
The evening will feature a game between Forward Madison FC and Chattanooga Red Wolves SC. During halftime, outstanding staff from the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) will be recognized. There will also be a ceremonial first kick performed by an MMSD student.
In addition to recognizing school staff, the event will include a celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month with music, food, and activities. Free tickets are available for MMSD staff members.
Nominations are open for both staff members who have made significant contributions to students and families, as well as for students to deliver the ceremonial first kick. Special encouragement is given to nominate Hispanic/Latino staff in recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month.
The district encourages participation in this community event that aims to honor both its employees and students.
