Monona City - WI issued the following announcement on Jan.3.
Christmas trees will be collected during the week of January 17. In order to ensure collection, trees must be at the curb by 7:00 am on Monday, Jan. 17. Be sure to remove all ornaments, lights, plastic tree bags, etc., as the trees are run through a chipper. Also please be sure that your tree is not buried in snow so it's visible to the collection crews.
