Effective January 11, 2023, utility customers charged for sewer usage will see an increase of 37.5%. The rate increase is in response to our continued increase in charges from Madison Metropolitan Sewerage District (MMSD). MMSD provides for the treatment of the wastewater we send to the district from within our system and has its own governing board that sets charges for member municipalities.
