The Village of Cottage Grove will host an in-person public involvement meeting (PIM) from 4-6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Village Hall to discuss various facility studies planned for 2023.
Village staff and architectural consultants will introduce the studies, which entail feasibility for an Emergency Services Station #2, Public Library Master Plan and Phasing and Cost Analysis for Municipal Services Building expansion and renovation (AKA “Village Campus Project”).
“To best plan for accommodating the Village’s growing population, the Village Board commissioned several facility studies to assist with making critical capital and service related decisions,” Village of Cottage Grove Administrator Matt Giese said. “As our goal is to always keep our community informed, we welcome your participation and feedback.”
The format of the meeting will be “open house”, meaning the public can attend anytime between 4 and 6 p.m. to review exhibits and other study materials, ask questions and provide comments. For those who cannot attend, all exhibits will be posted on a village webpage after the meetings. The Village is planning to hold additional PIMs, as needed, later in the year to detail findings from the studies.
