The College Republicans chapter at the University of Wisconsin, known as GOP Badgers, used the X platform to criticize the Biden administration's economic policies. In their post, the group shared a photo of their setup outside the University to give away grocery items for individuals who could guess the correct high prices.
"The Price is WRONG!" The organization said online. "It’s like The Price is Right except Joe Biden is president. Bidenomics doesn’t work for Wisconsin & it surely doesn’t work for college students at the University of Wisconsin. We’re out talking w/ students & giving away groceries to those who guess the high prices!"
President Biden continues to promote his economic policy, known as Bidenomics, during his appearances in various U.S. cities, but recent polls reveal ongoing disappointment among Americans. According to the latest data from a Wall Street Journal poll conducted Aug. 24-30, his approval ratings remain low, with 63% of voters expressing disapproval of his handling of inflation, and 59% disapproving of his overall economic management, according to Fox News.
The latest data from the U.S. Department of Labor reveals that the unemployment rate has reached its highest point since February 2022, standing at 3.8%. Meanwhile, inflation has surged by nearly 17% since President Biden assumed office. Grocery prices have seen a 20% increase, energy prices have surged by 38%, gas prices are on the rise, and the housing market is facing challenges as well, according to Fox Business.
"Democrats and their media allies are fretting over why most people think Biden's handling of the economy has been disastrous," said Dan O'Donnell, host of Milwaukee's The Dan O'Donnell Show, on the X platform. "Is it because they're dumb? They're partisan Republicans? No, it's because Biden's handling of the economy has been disastrous."
"Poll: 51% say economy worse since Biden became president, 14% say the same, only 31% say better," said Brian Schimming, Chairman of the Republican Party of Wisconsin and talk show host, according to the X platform. "Ppl know Bidenomics is a massive failure for Wisconsin workers paying more for gas, and groceries."
