The MMSD Planetarium, located at Vel Phillips Memorial High School, is set to offer a unique way to celebrate Valentine's Day this February with two special programs: Romance Under the Stars and Enchantment Under the Stars.
Romance Under the Stars is an event designed for adults aged 18 and over. Attendees will have the opportunity to stargaze and explore the night sky with their partners in the comfort of the planetarium. Registration is required for each participant.
The schedule for Romance Under the Stars includes sessions on Thursday, February 13th, Friday, February 14th, Saturday, February 15th, Sunday, February 16th, and Monday, February 17th. Each day features two time slots: from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m., and from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Enchantment Under the Stars caters to families with children aged eight and above. This presentation is designed for a multi-age audience and requires registration for all attendees. A registered child must be accompanied by at least one participating adult.
The Enchantment Under the Stars event will take place on Friday, February 14th; Saturday, February 15th; and Sunday, February 16th. The time slots are from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., as well as additional sessions on Saturday from 4:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., and from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
