Madison College's Vision 2030 strategic planning is currently underway, focusing on supporting student success and community and workforce partnerships in the upcoming academic years. To gather input and engage with the community, the college has organized several listening sessions open to all interested individuals.
According to Madison College Executive Vice President of Policy and Strategy, and Chief of Staff, Dr. Mark Thomas, engaging with community members is crucial for the development of Vision 2030. Dr. Thomas stated, “Engaging with community members throughout our region is essential in developing Vision 2030. This provides an opportunity to discuss the priorities of our workforce partners, students, and community.”
The college's efforts for Vision 2030 began last fall, involving inputs from students, employees, and community members. These upcoming listening sessions aim to further refine the key focus areas for the next several years and finalize the Vision 2030 framework. The final product of Vision 2030 will be presented to the Madison College District Board of Trustees in the summer.
Community members interested in participating can attend the following Madison College Vision 2030 listening sessions:
- Tuesday, April 9 at 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Madison College Goodman South campus, 2429 S. Perry St, Room 207, Madison, Wisconsin
