Susanna Daniel, the author known for her novel "Stiltsville," will be speaking at Madison College's Writer’s Life Lecture Series on October 8. Her debut work, "Stiltsville" (2010), has been recognized for its detailed portrayal of Miami life and the stilt houses in Biscayne Bay. The novel earned the 2011 PEN/Bingham Prize for debut fiction. Daniel's subsequent novel, "Sea Creatures" (2013), also delves into themes of relationships, family dynamics, and survival.
