Madison College, in collaboration with the Greater Dane Dental Society (GDDS), is organizing a free dental clinic for veterans on November 10. The event aims to provide up to 100 veterans with complimentary dental X-rays and exams. Services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If further treatment is required, veterans may receive referrals for additional no-cost care, depending on their needs and the availability of services.

Lisa Bahr, Dental Hygiene Program Director at Madison College, expressed the importance of this initiative: “We want to take an extra step to honor veterans on Veterans Day and provide them with dental care that will improve their health and lives. It’s our way of expressing gratitude for their service to our country.”

The GDDS has made a generous donation to support this event. Dr. Sami Kawas, President of GDDS, stated, “Our members are pleased and honored to support this screening.”

Apart from this special event, Madison College Dental Clinic provides affordable dental hygiene services throughout the year for veterans at $30 per session. Veterans interested in these services can schedule an appointment by calling 608-258-2400.

The "Give 100 Veterans a Smile" event will take place at the Madison College Dental Clinic located in the Health Education Building at 1705 Hoffman St., Room 151, Madison Wisconsin. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with sign-up starting at 9 a.m.
