South Blair Street in Madison will undergo a lane reduction for a sanitary sewer lining project. According to the announcement made on April 4, 2024, the reduction will take place between Williamson Street and Railroad Street.

The project will commence at 7:00 am on Friday, April 5, with the street being limited to one traffic lane in each direction. The lane closures are expected to persist through the weekend and are scheduled to reopen by Sunday afternoon.

The initiative aims to address necessary maintenance and improvements to the sewer system in the area. As stated, "The lane closures will remain in place through the weekend and will reopen by Sunday afternoon."
