In a tweet posted on November 19, Rep. Pocan stated: "The Pentagon has failed their 7th audit in a row. We need to rise up and hold the Pentagon accountable!"
On November 20, Rep. Pocan highlighted tax disparities between billionaires and everyday workers such as teachers and firefighters. He tweeted: "Most billionaires pay a lower tax rate than everyday people like teachers & firefighters. The status quo is broken – we need to tax the rich now! I wonder if any of my Republican colleagues agree."
Later that day, Rep. Pocan extended birthday wishes to the President with appreciation for his contributions to the country: "Happy birthday, Mr. President. Thank you for all you have done for our country!"
