Brian Burch, president of the Catholic Vote organization, said cultural institutions with opposing worldviews have taken control of much of society, meaning Catholic parents have to “actively and aggressively instill the right values into their children.”

Their parenting work carries with it an added burden--they must actively and aggressively instill the right values into their children."
A 2023 poll by the Survey Center on American Life that showed among U.S. adults, 62% of adults who had been raised by Democrat parents were Democrats, while only 57% of adults who had been raised by Republican parents were Republicans.
The partisan gap is greater among younger categories of adults, and it greatest in women ages 18-29. In this age demographic, 69% of adult men and 73% of adult women who were raised by Democrats are Democrats, while 67% of adult men and only 44% of adult women who were raised by Republicans are Republicans.
