Madison College's Class of 2024 is a group of diverse and accomplished individuals, each with their own unique story of success. As the college prepares to graduate 1,798 students earning 1,877 credentials this spring, it's clear that behind each number lies a student with a remarkable journey.

Among the graduates, there is a strong sense of pride in their accomplishments. Jessica Smith, a liberal arts graduate, expressed her pride in being on the Dean’s List each semester, while medical assistant program graduate Patti Stowell shared her triumph over academic obstacles, stating, “Maintaining above average grades at school has always been difficult for me.”

For Daniel Galgon, graduating from the mechanical design technology program, starting his Madison College journey in high school is a source of pride. Krystin Stockland, a nursing program graduate, highlighted the fulfillment of achieving her RN certification after 13 years of schooling, while dental hygiene student Sarah Allen simply expressed pride in "Everything."

The graduates also offered valuable advice to current and future students. Perseverance was a common theme, with many emphasizing the importance of not giving up and fighting for what one wants. Benjamin Smith, an IT Cloud DevOps program graduate, encouraged students to "Work hard and get through it any way you can. The benefits will be worth it in the long run."

Additionally, the graduates shared insider tips about Madison College, such as the best café sandwiches and discounted dental cleanings. They also praised the institution's state-of-the-art facilities and academic support services, encouraging students to seek help when needed.

Looking ahead, the paths of these graduates are diverse. Some are seeking employment in their fields of interest, while others plan to pursue further education. Jessica Smith, for example, will be pursuing education in radiography, and others are set to attend various universities for their next academic endeavors.

Madison College's Spring Commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 10 at the Alliant Energy Center, where the faculty, staff, and administration will celebrate the achievements of the Class of 2024. To all the graduates, the college wishes fulfillment, happiness, and success in their future endeavors.
