The Madison Arts Commission has announced the allocation of $101,000 to 57 organizations and individuals for various projects as part of its annual arts grants program. The program aims to enrich the cultural landscape of the city and is partially supported by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board, with funds originating from both the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The grants are designed to support both individual artists through fellowships and organizational applicants who propose projects or arts education programs. For this cycle, the Madison Arts Commission received a total of 63 applications, amounting to $186,295 in requests. However, due to limited available funds, not all applicants could be fully funded or awarded a grant.
