MADISON, Wis. – The Madison Police Department is hosting its annual Awards Ceremony this week to honor officers, professional staff, and community members for their bravery and commitment to public safety. The event will take place Wednesday evening at the Monona Terrace.
“Our department is full of selfless public servants who bravely respond to emergency situations. This ceremony is a chance for us to publicly recognize all they do for our community,” said Madison Police Chief Shon Barnes. "It's also a way to honor residents who selflessly helped members of our community during a time of need."
The Award Ceremony will be livestreamed and recorded. It can be watched at this link starting at 6 p.m.
