The set-out dates for brush collection following the recent storm are now available at www.cityofmadison.com/BrushCollection. The Streets Division aims to complete one full cycle of brush collection across the city by Friday, June 14, 2024.
Set-out dates differ by neighborhood, with multiple neighborhoods sharing the same date. Residents can find their specific set-out date by visiting the brush collection website and entering their address into the provided form or using the look-up map. Brush should be set out on the Sunday indicated on the map, with collection occurring during the work week that follows.
Additionally, Streets Division drop-off sites will accept brush. The previously announced limit on the number of trips residents can make to a drop-off site has been temporarily lifted until June 1, 2024. For more information on drop-off sites, visit www.cityofmadison.com/DropOffSites.
Due to widespread and significant damage from the storm, patience is requested as crews work to collect materials efficiently and safely. Urban Forestry arborists and staff continue to clear road blockages and address other tree damage concerns. Core services such as street sweeping, trash collection, and recycling collection will also continue.
