Lake Vista Café has reopened for the 2024 season, offering casual gourmet fare, drinks, and expansive views of Lake Monona and downtown Madison. Located on the rooftop of the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, the café provides a scenic dining experience.
The café operates with varying hours: it is closed on Mondays, open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Wednesday through Sunday. Hours may be subject to change due to inclement weather.
The menu features a variety of options:
Appetizers include house-made fries, Farmer’s Market Cheese Curds, Mediterranean Board, Lakeside Trio Dip, and Mushroom Frites.
Salads offered are Wright Grain Bowl, Rooftop Grain Bowl, Vista Picnic Salad, and Chojín Salad (Vegan).
For entrees, patrons can choose from LVC Fish Tacos, Cauliflower Shawarma Tacos (Vegan), and Korean BBQ Taco.
Sandwich selections include LVC Signature Burger, Garden Party Burger, Pork Báhn Mi, and King x Nolen Sandwich.
Desserts available are Ice Cream Novelties, Pound Cake Plate/Parfait, and Sea Salt Chocolate Cookie.
