The City of Madison Parking Division will transition current permit holders and new applicants to electronic billing invoices starting this summer. This new system aims to reduce paper use and offer additional payment options, including electronic monthly payments and scheduled recurring automatic payments. Traditional payment methods such as in-office or by mail will still be available.

The update is intended to provide a more convenient payment option for participants while also offering broader access to payment history, invoice numbers, and increased security for electronic payments. Program members will receive email invoices that can be paid through the existing online Resident Payment Portal used for other municipal billings.

Benefits of the new service include:

- Access from personal devices, anywhere.

- Invoice numbers linking directly to the payment portal.

- A simplified system usable as a guest or with an existing account.

- Options to schedule future payments, sign up for automatic payments via credit card or ACH, and view payment history. Account setup is required for recurring auto-payments.

- Reduction in paper waste.
