Madison College Gallery at Truax is showcasing a summer full of art, featuring a diverse range of media including paintings, drawings, ceramics, jewelry, art metals, and collages. The highlight of the exhibit is artist Jane Braatz’s "Zebras in Vivid Color."

The exhibition represents the variety of techniques and interests explored in Madison College’s continuing education classes. These classes cater to lifelong learners from beginner to advanced levels and are taught by local teaching artists.

Continuing education courses at Madison College are open to the community year-round and cover a wide array of interests beyond art, such as music, language, and cooking. Upcoming art classes include watercolor lab, screen printing, VR art, art welding, fabric arts, and ceramics. More information and registration details can be found on madisoncollege.edu/pce.

The Madison College Continuing Education Student Art Show will be on display until September 20. A closing ceremony is scheduled for September 20 from 4-6 p.m.

The Gallery at Truax is located on the mezzanine in the entrance of the Truax Building Room A1005 at 1701 Wright St., Madison. Gallery hours are Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-5 p.m., with parking available in visitor or student lots.

Throughout the year, Madison College Gallery at Truax features innovative artist exhibits that are free to the public. For more information, visit the Gallery at Truax website.
