The first Concerts on the Square event is scheduled for Wednesday, June 26, which will bring increased traffic throughout the isthmus and Capitol Square areas. Traffic delays are anticipated, especially on Doty Street and the Outer Loop during afternoon peak travel hours, due to the Wilson and Doty Street reconstruction project closing traffic lanes along Doty Street.

There will be a significant increase in vehicles, bicycles, and pedestrians during these events. Travelers are advised to exercise caution when passing through the area. Eastbound traffic passing through the isthmus is encouraged to use John Nolen Drive or Johnson Street. Westbound traffic passing through the isthmus is encouraged to use John Nolen Drive or Gorham Street.

Concerts on the Square occurs each Wednesday evening starting on June 26 and ending on July 31.

Additional information can be found on the Concerts on the Square event website. Some bus routes may detour; for additional information visit Metro Transit’s Detour webpage.
