Starting Friday, July 26, R.G. Huston will be performing underground utility work at the intersection of King Street, Wilson Street, and Butler Street. During this phase of work, all traffic will be shifted to the south side of Wilson Street with one lane open in each direction.

Outbound (northbound) Butler Street and inbound King Street will be closed during this phase.

Inbound vehicles on Wilson Street wanting to use Butler Street should follow the posted detour route: Wilson Street to Pinckney Street to Doty Street to Webster Street to Main Street. Inbound vehicles on Wilson Street wanting to use King Street should follow the posted detour route: Wilson Street to Pinckney Street to Doty Street.

At times, the contractor may close both inbound and outbound Butler Streets simultaneously. During these times, barricades will be placed at the Butler and Main Streets intersection warning vehicles to follow the posted detour from Main Streeet to King Streeet to Wilson Streeet.

These closures may remain in place for 2-3 weeks as the contractor performs utility work in this area.
