Sample ballots available online ahead of General Election on Nov. 5

Sample ballots for the upcoming General Election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024, are now available. Voters can access a sample ballot specific to their address at https://MyVote.wi.gov.

Madison voters will encounter the following positions and referenda on their November ballot:

- President/Vice President

- United States Senator

- Representative in Congress

- State Senator (for portions of Madison)

- Representative to the State Assembly

- District Attorney

- County Clerk

- County Treasurer

- Register of Deeds

- Special Election for County Executive

- State Referendum

- Municipal Referendum

Additionally, there will be multiple school district referenda for various areas:

- Two School District Referenda for voters in the Madison Metropolitan School District

- School District Referendum for voters in the Sun Prairie Area School District

- School District Referendum for voters in the Waunakee Community School District

- School District Referendum for voters in the DeForest Area School District

- School District Referendum for voters in the McFarland School District

The City Clerk’s Office will commence mailing absentee ballots next week. According to a statement from the office, "The goal of the City Clerk’s Office is that each eligible voter will be able to cast a ballot and have that ballot counted."
