Starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 28, R.G Huston's paving contractor will continue work on E Wilson Street within the intersection of Wilson Street and Pinckney Street. The closure is expected to last until 1 p.m.

During this period, Metro Buses will be rerouted onto John Nolen Drive. E Wilson Street, from King Street to Pinckney Street, will temporarily function as a two-way street to ensure access to local businesses and residences. However, there will be no access permitted onto Pinckney Street from E Wilson Street.

For those needing access to the Embassy Suites, a detour route is posted for the outer square loop: King Street to Webster Street to Dayton Street to Fairchild Street to Doty Street for reaching Pinckney Street.

Access to the Wilson Street Parking Garage via Wilson Street will remain available at all times. Meanwhile, access to the Hilton Hotel will be directed through Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard with assistance from flaggers.
