The City of Madison has announced the postponement of its public test of voting equipment, initially planned for Saturday, October 26. The decision comes after a legal notice regarding the test was published on October 25, failing to meet the required 48-hour advance notice stipulated by state law.

The Clerk’s office is taking steps to ensure compliance with legal requirements by rescheduling the test. Residents will be informed at least 48 hours before the new date through publications in the Wisconsin State Journal and updates on the Clerk's Office website.
