FOIA Request to Village Of Dane Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.
As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Madison Reporter have submitted a request under the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., for a list of new voters who registered to vote on November 5, 2024.
Our aim is to continue providing transparency and holding public institutions accountable through our reporting. Access to public records such as these is essential in fulfilling our professional responsibilities.
We have requested these records preferably in electronic format for ease of access and dissemination. As a media organization involved in gathering and reporting news to the public, we believe we are eligible for a fee waiver.
