The City of Madison has confirmed an active shooter incident at Abundant Life Christian School. Officials have stated that there is no ongoing threat to the community and efforts are underway to support victims and their families. Several victims have been transported to local hospitals for treatment.

Parents looking to reunite with their children are directed to the reunification center at the SSM Urgent Health Clinic located at 1821 S. Stoughton Rd. The public is advised to avoid the area surrounding the school. A public briefing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Central time at Fire Station 14, situated at 3201 Dairy Dr, Madison.

City officials expressed gratitude towards law enforcement, fire services, medical staff, and other emergency personnel for their prompt and professional response to this tragic event.
