Metro Transit has announced adjustments to its bus services for the upcoming holiday period. On Tuesday, December 24, a shortened weekday schedule will be in effect, with all routes operating until an early closure.

On Christmas Eve, routes 28, 38, 55, 65, and 75 will complete their scheduled trips. Route 80 will run on a shortened weekend recess schedule while routes 81 through 84 will not operate at all.

For Christmas Day on Wednesday, December 25, buses will follow Sunday schedules across several routes including A through H and J through S. Route 80 continues with its weekend recess service and again routes 81 to 84 are non-operational.

Regarding paratransit services on these dates: standing rides after 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve are canceled and all standing rides on Christmas Day are also canceled. Riders needing transportation during this time must arrange casual rides.

Customer service hours have been adjusted as well. The call center is available from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on December 25; however, the Administration Office remains closed.
