Madison opens application for 2025 SEED Grants

The City of Madison Food Policy Council has announced the commencement of the 2025 SEED Grants cycle, aiming to tackle food access challenges within the community. These grants are intended for emerging projects or programs that enhance access to healthy food.

The 2025 budget for the City of Madison includes $50,000 in grant funds allocated by the Madison Food Policy Council. The council invites organizations and groups focused on improving food accessibility for residents to apply. Each grant will not exceed $10,000.

Applicants can find necessary information and forms on the City of Madison SEED Grants webpage. Submissions are due by Friday, February 21, 2025, at 11:59 p.m., directed to mfpc@cityofmadison.com.

The SEED Grants Review Group will evaluate applications and make funding recommendations in March 2025. Final decisions are expected by late March or early April 2025. Queries can be sent to mfpc@cityofmadison.com for prompt responses.
