Madison Parks is seeking community input on the proposed features for the Madison LakeWay project along John Nolen Drive. This development focuses on a 0.6-mile stretch of public lakeshore, marking the first phase of the Madison LakeWay initiative.

A virtual meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 23, where representatives from Madison Parks and the design team will discuss master plan recommendations and review proposed amenities. The timeline for this project includes completing the schematic design by early 2025, continuing design development through 2026, and starting construction in 2027. Coordination with other city agencies is ongoing to align these improvements with John Nolen Drive's reconstruction, managed by City Engineering.

Interested participants can register for the virtual meeting via a link provided by Madison Parks. Post-meeting, schematic design materials and an online survey will be available on the Madison LakeWay project page.
