Mark Pocan, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin's 2nd district since 2013, recently shared several updates on social media regarding his political activities and initiatives. Pocan, who succeeded Tammy Baldwin in Congress and has a background in state and local government, addressed constituents through a series of tweets.

On January 30, 2025, Pocan provided an update for those unable to attend his town hall meeting. He encouraged constituents to "watch it all here", giving credit to WISCTV News 3 for coverage.

Later that day, Pocan criticized the Trump Administration over funding issues related to Head Start centers. He stated that despite claims from the administration, funding remains paused. He announced that "we sent this letter to the Trump Administration today to demand they restore funding for Head Start immediately."

On January 31, 2025, Pocan commemorated Ida Fuller receiving the first Social Security check 85 years ago. Emphasizing the importance of Social Security benefits, he declared his support as a co-sponsor of the Social Security 2100 Act aimed at extending and improving the program. He expressed his stance by stating "Just like Ida, you deserve your full Social Security benefits because it’s your damn money."
