Rep. Mark Pocan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 2nd district, has recently shared several tweets addressing both state and national issues. On February 18, 2025, Pocan reminded voters about the importance of participating in the Wisconsin primaries. "Today is your last chance to vote in the Wisconsin primaries. Later that day, Pocan expressed concerns over privacy issues involving Elon Musk and access to personal financial information. He tweeted at 20:00 UTC: "It’s not rocket science: an unelected billionaire should NOT have access to your personal financial info! If just three House Republicans join us, we can pass a bill that stops Musk from accessing your private info. But the @HouseGOP is siding with their favorite billionaire…"

Continuing his critique on privacy matters, Pocan highlighted further concerns regarding social security data access by Elon Musk. At 20:29 UTC, he stated: "Elon is looking at more than just your social security number. Yes, really. They now have access to the social security database and are clearly looking to see what they can slash from your hard earned payments. Meanwhile, the @HouseGOP is working on a $4.5 TRILLION tax cut…"
