Rep. Mark Pocan, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin’s 2nd district, has recently shared his views on several political matters through a series of tweets. Pocan, who succeeded Tammy Baldwin in 2013 and has a long history of public service including time in the Wisconsin State Assembly and Dane County board of supervisors, continues to be an active voice on social media.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Mark Pocan tweeted about his participation with colleagues in the State Legislature to discuss the implications of what he terms as the "Republican Rip Off" for residents of Wisconsin. He stated: "Today, I joined my friends in the State Legislature to talk about what the Republican Rip Off would mean for folks in Wisconsin."

The following day, February 20, 2025, Pocan highlighted an analysis concerning concerns related to the upcoming federal budget. He remarked: "An excellent breakdown of what we've been warning about in the upcoming federal budget." The tweet included a link to further information.

Later that same day, Rep. Pocan expressed criticism towards Elon Musk's financial strategies involving cryptocurrency DOGE and their potential impact on government agencies aiding vulnerable populations. He commented: "Elon Musk is using DOGE as an excuse to sledgehammer entire agencies that help the poorest and everyday people. Why? To free up cash for a $4.5 trillion tax cut for a small group of his billionaire buddies."
