Rep. Mark Pocan, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Wisconsin's 2nd district, recently shared his views on former President Donald Trump through a series of tweets. Pocan has been serving in Congress since 2013 after replacing Tammy Baldwin and has previously held positions in the Wisconsin State Assembly and the Dane County board of supervisors.
On March 5, 2025, Pocan expressed his frustration with Trump's rhetoric during an address by stating "I've heard enough of Trump's BS. Just walked out."
Later that day, he tweeted again about his sentiments regarding the address, noting "Listening to ANYTHING – even Nickelback – would have been a better use of time than listening to Trump's address."
In a subsequent tweet posted on the same day, Rep. Pocan emphasized the importance of engaging with constituents amidst current events. He announced an upcoming town hall meeting by saying "With everything going on right now, it’s more important than ever for Members of Congress to hold town halls to hear from their constituents... This Saturday, I will be holding a town hall in Belmont and welcome the opportunity to hear from folks in the area..."
