Rep. Mark Pocan, a U.S. Congressman representing Wisconsin's 2nd district since 2013, has been vocal on several issues through his social media posts. With a background in political service spanning from the Wisconsin State Assembly to the Dane County Board of Supervisors, Pocan often shares insights and opinions on pressing matters.

On March 8, 2025, Rep. Pocan informed constituents who could not attend a town hall meeting in Belmont that they could access the full recording online. He shared this information via social media: "If you weren't able to make it to today’s town hall in Belmont, you can watch the full recording here: https://t.co/dKLVTMZJWd".

The following day, March 9, he addressed concerns over funding cuts by the United States to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), emphasizing its impact on Palestinian refugees. In his tweet, he stated: "The United States cut funding to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) which provides lifesaving relief for millions of Palestinian refugees. This is a massive humanitarian crisis. I joined my colleagues in co-sponsoring the UNRWA Funding Emergency Restoration Act."

Later that day, Rep. Pocan criticized certain political priorities through another tweet: "Maybe he should focus on lowering costs instead of golfing and attacking trans kids and immigrants."
