Mark Pocan, a U.S. Congress member representing Wisconsin's 2nd district, has shared several statements on social media addressing issues related to Medicare and Medicaid. These comments were made in March 2025.

On March 14, Pocan highlighted changes in Medicare payments for seniors. He stated that "Thanks to President Biden, seniors on Medicare were about to only have to pay $2 for many generic medications. Trump said 'Not on my watch!' and now seniors will have to pay more on their prescription drugs."

Later the same day, he encouraged the public to engage with personal narratives regarding Medicaid by posting a link to a video: "Watch here as everyday Americans share their Medicaid stories."

On March 16, Pocan questioned the transparency of Republican officials concerning their policies. He wrote, "We should all be asking why Republican elected officials won’t do town halls! If they are proud of their plans that gut Medicaid, SNAP, and public education funding, they should make sure everyone knows."
