The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District has announced that Bobbie Reinhart will serve as the new principal of Middleton High School, starting July 1, 2025. Reinhart is currently the Associate Principal for Teaching and Learning at the school.

Reinhart began his tenure with MCPASD in 2019, taking on the role of Dean of Students at Middleton High School. He is known for his collaborative work with students, staff, and the community, creating opportunities for students' success. Since entering public education in 2012, he has held positions as an elementary school teacher and instructional leader in Verona.

Reinhart expressed his leadership philosophy, stating, “I believe in creating strong systems that support students and staff, fostering deep relationships, and ensuring that all students – whether they are excelling, facing challenges, or finding their path – feel supported and challenged to reach their potential."

As Reinhart prepares to succeed current principal Peg Shoemaker, who will retire in June, he acknowledged the significance of Shoemaker's influence, saying, "It's an honor to have the opportunity to build on her dedication to our students and staff as her leadership has made a significant impact on me and our entire school community." Reinhart is committed to working with the school's dedicated staff to continue and enhance Middleton High School's tradition of excellence.

Leading the largest high school in Wisconsin presents unique challenges, but Reinhart remains confident. He remarked, "I'm confident that by working closely with our dedicated staff and engaging our students, families and our community, we will ensure that Middleton High School's reputation for excellence continues."

The school district congratulates Reinhart on his new role and anticipates the positive effects his leadership will bring to both the school and the wider community.
