Middleton High School's forensics team displayed a commendable performance at the 2025 State Tournament held at Vel Phillips Memorial High School. The competition featured over 800 student participants statewide. Among the twelve competitors from Middleton, nine reached the semifinal rounds in their respective categories, with four members advancing to the finals.
The final round participants from Middleton were as follows: Nikhil Quintin, who achieved notable success by becoming the State Champion in Expository Speaking, securing third place in Congressional Debate, and receiving the accolade of Best Presiding Officer. Rianna Jain emerged as the State Champion in Solo Serious Acting, while Tanvi Kulkarni was named the State Champion in Storytelling. Sarah Larsen finished fifth in the Moments in History category.
The Middleton semifinalists included Ash Rogers in Informative Speaking, Raghvi Sethi and Jenna Hager in Oratory, Dhriti Prakash in Radio Speaking, and Marlee Pavelski in Special Occasion Speaking.
Additionally, praise was extended to Nikhil Quintin, who was one of six seniors awarded a $1,000 scholarship by the Wisconsin Forensics Coaches' Association.
