The Madison College Foundation has announced a significant achievement in its support for students. For the 2024–2025 academic year, the foundation awarded scholarships totaling $2.4 million to students attending Madison College.
The foundation distributed a total of 2,261 scholarships, with each award averaging $1,260. This number marks a 28% increase in scholarships from the previous year and is indicative of the largest number of applications the foundation has ever processed.
The scholarships are designed to help students in their educational pursuits by easing financial burdens, thus allowing them to concentrate more effectively on their studies.
“This incredible milestone reflects the generosity of our donors and the strong commitment of the Madison College community to student success,” stated Tammy Thayer, CEO of the Madison College Foundation. She further added, “Our vision is that no student be denied an education due to financial barriers, and we’re honored to support so many deserving students as they pursue their dreams.”
The Madison College Foundation aims to continue increasing scholarship opportunities and providing emergency grants to help students stay enrolled and achieve their educational and career goals.
