Area nonprofit organizations in Dubuque, Iowa, have a new opportunity to secure funding through the Dupaco Foundation's Nonprofit Grant program. Applications are currently being accepted for this annual grant initiative. The program supports nonprofits focusing on one of the foundation’s three key focus areas.

Joe Hearn, Dupaco Foundation Secretary and President/CEO of Dupaco Community Credit Union, explained the foundation’s mission: “The Dupaco Foundation is dedicated to empowering our communities by supporting organizations that drive meaningful change in these areas. Through this grant program, we aim to amplify the efforts of these nonprofits, fostering innovation and creating opportunities for growth and development.”

The Dupaco Foundation will distribute a total of $250,000 in grant funding. Individual grants can reach up to $20,000, depending on the project’s scope and scale. Proposals should articulate clear goals and measurable outcomes.

This grant program is in its second year. Last year, twenty-nine nonprofits received a total of $250,000 in funding.

Interested organizations can submit their applications online until May 30, 2025. The grant awards will be announced in July 2025. More details and application information are available online.
