The latest edition of Community Connection magazine, covering the 2024-2025 school year, has been released by the Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District (MCPASD). This annual publication aims to showcase significant achievements and developments within the district.

The new issue features several highlights. Among them is cover artwork by Clara Wegener, a student from Middleton High School. The magazine also celebrates various student accomplishments, including Drew Cooney and Maddy Wilcox being named Senior Athletes of the Year, along with state titles in band, debate, and athletics.

Additionally, the magazine includes profiles of alumni such as Anitha Quintin from the Class of 2017 and Aaliyah Razvi from the Class of 2023. Teachers' accolades are also noted, with Middleton High School teacher Megan Sipiorski recognized as the 2025 Wisconsin High School Social Studies Teacher of the Year and Northside Elementary School teacher Jennifer Magee selected as a 2025 Herb Kohl Educational Foundation Teacher Fellow.

The edition further explores MCPASD's Future-Preparedness Framework: A Cardinal’s Journey and honors received by MCPASD itself, including its designation as a 2025 Wisconsin State Journal Top Workplace. Photos from the Class of 2025’s commencement ceremony are also featured.

MCPASD distributes this magazine to every household within its district to foster community engagement. Residents can expect their copies in mailboxes starting next week or access it online in both English and Spanish to revisit key moments from the past academic year.
