Cost of college went up for all students at Herzing University-Madison

Tuition and fees rose 1.1 percent for 2018-19 at Herzing University-Madison, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Wisconsin students paid $14,000 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $150 more than the $13,850 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 97 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 56 students received grants or scholarships totaling $269,165 and 46 students took out student loans totaling more than $319,701.

Including all undergraduates (2,140), 1,574 students used grants or scholarships totaling $7.9 million, and 1,473 students took out $11.7 million in federal student loans.
