Capitol Consultants INC. issued the following announcement on Aug. 22

• 350 Current Hospital Admissions (119 patients in ICU)

• • Hospital admissions are down 17 (-17) since Thursday.
  • The total number of ICU patients reported decreased by 1 (-1) since Thursday.
• Cumulatively there have been 1,172,097 COVID-19 tests in Wisconsin;

• • 69,059 positive tests and 1,103,038 negative tests in Wisconsin (5.9% positive rate for the pandemic)
    • On Thursday there were 826 positive tests reported on 10,570 tests (7.8% positive rate Friday)
• Deaths from COVID-19 now total 1,068 in Wisconsin.

  • • On Friday there was 1 death reported
• 60,055 patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 and are listed as having recovered (87%), 7,918 cases are still considered active (12%) and 1,068 patients have died (2%). (last updated by DHS on 8/21)
