University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh librarian Ronald Hardy donates $214 to Bernard Sanders' campaign

Ronald Hardy, a librarian at University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, donated $214 to Democratic Party candidate Bernard Sanders, according to the Federal Election Commission.

According to records, there have been $3,765 in campaign contributions made by individuals affiliated with University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh as of November 3. All of these contributions were made to Democratic Party candidates and committees.

Andrew Leavitt's contribution of $2,800 to Democratic Party Roger Dean R.D. Huffstetler was the largest contribution made by someone affiliated with University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh since January 1, 2019.

According to an Inside Higher Ed analysis of federal elections data, individuals that were affiliated with colleges and universities have donated five times more money to Joe Biden than to President Trump. A study by Pew Research in 2017 found that 58 percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents thought colleges and universities have a negative impact on the way things are going in this country.
