Suspended Wisconsin Badger running back Antwan Roberts has officially entered the transferred portal, looking to switch schools less than three weeks after his suspension was handed down from team leadership.

Roberts is a freshman at UW-Madison and has not played yet in a Badgers game this year. Paul Chryst, Wisconsin coach suspended the running back and another fellow running back, Loyal Crawford, following an altercation that occurred in the dorms last month.

University of Wisconsin police responded to the event in which the 18-year-old Crawford was charged with a misdemeanor of criminal disorderly conduct and disorderly conduct while armed.

Marc Lovicott, a spokesman for the UW Police, said that his department learned about the altercation on Aug. 22 and that Crawford was armed with a knife during the fight. Nobody was injured by the knife during the fight.

Roberts will look to get a fresh start in the transfer portal. The running back is from Nashville and signed with the Badgers in December as a three-star recruit. It's expected that regardless of this hiccup, several teams should be vying for his services, though it is uncertain whether it will be at a school as prestigious as UW-Madison.

In the absence of the two other running backs, Isaac Guerendo has picked up the reigns and so far, has had a successful season.
