Rising home prices in Sun Prairie in April

The median sale price of a home sold in April in Sun Prairie rose by $65,000 while total sales increased by 41.5 percent, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April, there were 92 homes sold, with a median sale price of $352,500 - a 22.6 percent increase over the $287,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 65 homes sold in Sun Prairie in April 2021.

The median sales tax in Sun Prairie for the most recent year with available data, 2020, was $5,693, approximately 1.6 percent of the median home sale price for April.
