Village of McFarland issued the following announcement on June 20.
Updates Regarding the Village’s 2022 Construction Projects

Terminal Drive Reconstruction (Contract A):
Cattell is the general contractor for this project.
A Public Information Meeting (PIM) for the project was held on June 1, 2022.

Initial clearing and grubbing is completed.
Street excavation is expected to start on June 6, 2022.
Installation of new water, sanitary and storm utilities is expected to continue into the week of June 20, 2022.
Construction completion is projected for late August.
Hidden Farm Road Reconstruction (Contract B):
Wolf Paving is the general contractor for this project.
Asphalt pulverizing was completed on June 9, 2022.
Storm sewer installation is planned for June 20, 2022.
Roadbuilding will occur over the week of June 20, 2022.
Construction completion is projected for late June.
Storck Road Pavement Replacement (Contract B):
Wolf Paving is the general contractor for this project.
Asphalt pulverizing will be completed on June 29, 2022.
Construction completion is projected for late June.
Card Avenue Water Main Replacement (Contract B):
Wolf Paving is the general contractor for this project.
The project has an anticipated start date of July 5, 2022
Construction completion is projected for the first week in September.
Lake Edge/Bremer Road Water Main Replacement (Contract B):
Wolf Paving is the general contractor for this project.
The project has an anticipated start date of July 5, 2022
Construction completion is projected for the first week in September.
Terminal Drive Rail Bridge and Osborn Pond Storm Sewer Repairs (Contract C):
R&T Voegeli Excavating is the general contractor for this project.
The project has an anticipated start date of mid-July or early August.
Additionally, the latest on Exchange Street, which is planned for 2024 construction is:

The project extents are from Farwell Drive to Sleepy Hollow Road.
A full street reconstruction is planned with the addition of bike lanes, new sidewalk on the west side, new storm sewer, water main replacement, and sanitary sewer improvements.
The project has an approved environmental document.
A third Public Information Meeting (PIM) is planned for October or November of this year.
