Starting Wednesday, September 25 at 5:30 pm, Mega Rentals will close the bike lane and one travel lane on University Avenue. The closure will start at North Bassett Street and end at the East Campus Mall Crosswalk. This measure is to install the remaining Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) pavement markings and replace pavement markings for the Sanitary Sewer Replacement Project on Lake Street.
University Avenue will be restricted to two travel lanes from 5:30 pm to 11 pm.
The Metro bus stop at University and Frances Street will move east to the Bassett Street/University Avenue stop lights. Further details on detours can be found on the Metro website.
