Andrene Wright, an assistant professor of African American Studies, specializes in Black political behavior, identity politics, and urban politics. Franciska Coleman, an Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Wisconsin Law School, focuses on multiracial democracy through political theory and First Amendment law.
The State Democracy Research Initiative is co-directed by Robert Yablon and Miriam Seifter. It promotes research on state-level democracy and public law. Dominique Broussard from the Department of Life Sciences Communication provides expertise in media and policy communication.
