Starting at 8:00 pm on Tuesday, October 22, Commercial Avenue will experience a full overnight closure. Following this, Highway 30 will be closed from midnight on Wednesday, October 23, to allow for the installation of new bridge overpass trusses for the Autumn Ridge Path. The highway and streets are scheduled to reopen by 5:00 am on Wednesday.
In case of bad weather or other unexpected events, these closures will be rescheduled to the night of Wednesday, October 23, into the morning of Thursday, October 24.
The specific closures include:
- Highway 30 between Stoughton Road and the Interstate
- Commercial Avenue between Walsh Road and Redland Drive
- Ziegler Road between Commercial Avenue and Brandie Road
Detour signs will guide traffic during these times. Metro Transit bus routes will also be affected with detours in place. More information about these detours can be found through Metro's resources. Updates on the project are available on the Autumn Ridge Path project website.
